Australian Fashion Trends

As all of us belles know, fashion is inspired from a little bit of everywhere! These Australian trends aren’t too far off from what we rock here in the States.

On the other hand, some are a little daring and in one case, too dang hot to be wearing out in public. But, if you can pull it off, by all means do what you do best. Check out some of these looks and tell me what you think–Hot or a HOT MESS?

First, the picture above is a Mariposa Maxi Dress from Hussy (DON’T you just love that name?). This maxi is cute and I love the angled cut around the bottom. It seems like one that is easy breezy to wear.

Mariposa Jumpsuit $349

This 70’s trend jumpsuit is okay (NOT feelin’ the ruffled top) but, I do think the leg length could have been a tad bit longer. I also would rock it with a pop of color instead of the back shoes. Other than that, this is a decent look that is still a trend here in the states.

PJ Harvey $150 (was $195) from Little Joe Women

This loungerie trend, yes you read right, not lingerie, is hot in Australia right not. We are familiar with this being that in the 80’s Madonna was the poster child for wearing your underwear as outerwear. I could easily see this under a cute cropped jacked and a fitted pair of jeans. Do you like this?

Lace Print Playsuits $24.95 from SES Fashion

This playsuit is a a little too floral for me, but I think someone could pull it off. I love how it’s tailored at the waist and ankle. Some cute jewelry and a nice pair of extremely high heels would set this look on fire! Share your thoughts with your girl!
