Party Like it’s Fall Eve

B'ham Magazine's Best of Party!

Yesterday we celebrated fall eve at Birmingham Magazine’s Best of B’ham Party. If you didn’t know by now, Birmingham Magazine knows how to throw a party that the whole family would love. Don’t forget about all the fun we had at their Beautiful People Party! Man, we had a ball. Other than having my heels sink into not-so-dry grass and getting stuck not once, not twice, but too many times to count, I still enjoyed myself.

The best part about these parties, other than them being completely free to those that RSVP, is that they allow you to see old/new friends all in one fab place. Spot us at 1:18 on the video below!!!

Happy people waiting to be served Jim 'N Nicks!

The soiree was held at the Good People Brewing (fairly new local company) warehouse located downtown. There was live music, great food and conversations. With new friends Jennifer & Summer, we ate divine Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ sandwiches (the two gents that served us were super nice) alongside chips from local chip company Golden Flake. ShermikaBelle and I had a choice of beer, water, or sweet tea to quench our thirst.

Local bakery, Dreamcakes, were on site, too. They had my fave cupcake (simply strawberry) and on the way out of the party I had to indulge in one mini cupcake. Mmm mmmm good!

Birmingham Magazine had their notorious swag bags given to a select few; the sis and I were able to get our little hands on one. We feel like Willy Wonka every time we arrive early to receive one!
