Congrats to Jessica Vance out of Alabaster, AL! She and a lucky person are headed to PTTR!!!
If we told you that in 11 days for one night only you have the chance to dance/hang out in a cool 44-foot tall geodesic dome, view amazing art displayed on buildings, eat and drink like the King or Queen of Birmingham, AL, all while supporting a local cause, would you take it? Well, today’s your chance to win a pair of tickets, friends!
Paint the Town Red (PTTR)is that night! This amazing annual event benefits the Birmingham chapter of the American Red Cross, and is back for its 4th year! They knew you could hardly contain yourself so the show is starting a little earlier this year—just for you (thank us later)!!
Saturday, April 14, 2012 the fun begins from 5 PM –12 AM on 2nd Ave. North in B’ham’s Loft District. Tell us what other event you know starts on one day and ends on another? We know, PTTR is too cool for school! No babysitter? Don’t fret because kids are welcome to enjoy the transformation of plain windows and brick buildings into spectacular works of digital art.
Expect animated shorts, graphic art, digital photography, music, and fab food and drinks from local businesses to entertain the whole family for the night. PTTR tickets can be purchased here and are $10 in advance and $15 for day of show.
Here’s how you enter to win tickets to PTTR! Hope your’re feeling lucky:
1. Giveaway begins April 3, 2012 and ends April 9, 2012 at 1:00 PM CST.
2. Random winner will be notified April 10, 2012! You’ll have 24 hours to claim your tickets before moving on to the next random person. No excuses. See, it is simple. 🙂
