Junior League of Birmingham’s Bargain Bash 2012

Y’all know a belle loves to shop, right? Sure you do! The sis and I love to find great items for rock bottom prices. We attended the Junior League of Birmingham’s Bargain Bash, a preview party for their annual 1,000 family garage sale, Bargain Carousel. Tamika and I racked up and saw so many wonderful items.

They have everything from electronics to household items and much MORE. This post is mostly pics so that you can ooohh and ahhh over some of the great items they have for sell.

Check out some of the cute items we found at Bargain Bash! These napkins are too awesome for $3!

Tickets were priced at $30 and $40 and attendees had to pay double the cost for each item. Those cute napkins you saw earlier were priced at only $1.50, but we paid $3. However, if you’re a deal hunter like we are and wanted first dibs on everything, then Bargain Bash was the place to be!

The tickets were worth it because shoppers received food, treats, beer, wine, and MORE. It seemed like the whole state of AL. (peeps come from all over) was there. The first thing we loved: the event is extremely organized from start to finish–literally. Don’t know if organizing queen Amanda LeBlanc helped with that, but she was there too!!

Wait no more… here it is!!:

Got kids? TONS of items. Imagine it and it’s there at the Bargain Carousel!!!

Clothes for DAYS!!
Kitchen tables galore!
Wine racks!! Belle-approved!!!!
A plethora of books--all categories!

Photo frame anyone?!
$20. Can you believe?

Seasonal items!!
Candle holders!!
This old school sewing machine was $30!

See below for a closer look at the items we found. We came out at around $19 total. Steal, huh?

These pillows were $8 and will look great on my Spring Martha Stewart comforter. Remember we had to pay double, but didn't mind!
Y'all know we love home items! These placemats & napkins clocked in at $3 each.
Isn't this pillow adorable? It was calling my name & only required that I spend $1.

I got these two cute vintage looking purses and paid $2 each. Upon looking inside the black purchase after I purchased it, Tamika saw that it is a Saks Fifth Avenue purse (LOOKS NEW too!). Talk about a frugal find. Yay! Woooo Hoooooooo!!!  🙂

Are you headed to the B’ham Bargain Carousel Saturday or Sunday? You better!!! Click here for dates/times.

UPDATE: As of 4.28.12 at 1PM this is what the venue looked like! We couldn’t believe all of the items that were sold!

  1. Wow–they had some good stuff! Everything look to be in pretty good condition. The little toddler sleigh bed reminds me of when my kid was small enough to sleep in them.. love that Misbehave pillow and I think I would need that Diva glass! LOL.

This post is making me excited about thrifting this weekend 🙂
