Eats & Treats: Johnny Brusco’s Pizza

Well, when the mood strikes, a belle likes to get down with some pizza. The mom and I decided to visit Johnny Brusco’s New York Style Pizza and see if it suited our fancy. We settled on the ‘Family Deal,’ which included 2 salads, garlic knots (more on those later) and a two topping pizza for $24.99.

Not bad, huh? Since I’m a frugal gal this was right up my alley! I even had a $10 off coupon, but later learned I had to use it or the Family Deal, so a belle chose the coupon. I’m all about saving money so I can buy more shoes or plane tickets.

We started out with salads that were dressed with mushrooms, onions and cucumbers. We each had balsamic vinaigrette, which had a sweet tangy taste we both loved. It sent our tastebuds in a good frenzy. Trust, the mom and I are somewhat picky eaters.

We ordered a 3 topping pizza: italian sausage, chicken and ham. The pizza was bubbly and full of cheesy goodness.

We decided to try out the wings, so we ordered a 10 piece (hot & lemon pepper). The wings were super crunchy and delicious. I had the hot and enjoyed them immensely. I managed to save 3  wings for Tamika 😉

The garlic knots were AMAZING and that is an understatement. Pizza dough tied into a cute knot is drenched in butter and garlic, and Parmesan cheese is sprinkled on top. Trust me, Johnny Brusco’s didn’t skimp on the garlic. Good thing I wasn’t on a date! Warm marinara sauce with parmesan sprinkles is served on the side. I am going to make these knots one day and tell y’all how they turn out.

This was quite tasty

Both the mom and I fell head over heels with Johnny Brusco’s and vowed never to have pizza delivered again. This pizza joint has locations all over, so they may be in your area. Johnny Brusco’s has really great food and even better service. Now that’s a win win for a belle!
