The only blues we experienced this weekend was at this amazing party! Blue was in the building and it looked good. Saturday, the sis & I got dolled up and headed to Macon, GA to my sweet friend Nicole’s 40th B’day bash. It was a Breakfast at Tiffany’s themed shindig held at her mother’s gorge art gallery. They went all out. There was a photo area, a loaded bar, a costume contest, plenty to eat, and a dance floor fit for Beyoncé.
Nicole doesn’t look a day over 30, right? Fierce, honey!! Her sister Heather made this absolutely beautiful cake below. Want to know what the best part was? It was a strawberry cake. Fab. AT. ITS. FINEST. PERIOD!!!
These belles danced, laughed, drank divine blue drinks and ate some yummy treats. If anyone knows how to throw a party it’s most def Mrs. Abdou. Remember the last time we ate at her house they laid out an Egyptian feast for us–literally. I met Nicole a couple of years ago at a group for writers and we’ve been besties ever since. She’s the most beautiful person (inside & out) you will ever meet and is the funniest too.
Check out all the fun we had!!!
They make the electric slide look real good, huh?!
