There are some great events going on in Atlanta that you must check out. If you’re thinking about visiting the city, NOW is a good time. Here are our top 3 things you must-experience:
Looking for a great night out on the town? Go ahead and get your art on by seeing August Wilson‘s popular play, Two Trains Running at Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company. The play delves into gentrification, race relations, the Civil Rights Movement, and humanity. We’ll be going soon and will offer up a review then. The play runs until March 10th and you can purchase tickets here.
Atlanta Chef’s Expo is a great weekend event if you’re a foodie like us! Add some good food and libations in the mix and you’ve got yourself a party. This event is this Sunday from 1:30-5:30 p.m. and more information can be found here. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Greater Atlanta. How cool is that?!
Calling all aspiring brides!!! It’s that time of the year when the weather is getting warmer and love is certainly in the air! We’re not engaged, but look forward to oohing and aahing over diamonds and wedding fashion. My sister and I are excited to see the new wedding trends for the year. Tamika and I are huge fans of watching wedding related shows.
If you’re engaged, planning on it, or simply like looking at the gorgeous things in life, come join us February 27, 2013 as Atlanta Weddings Magazine hosts “The Wedding Party,” which will serve up countless doses of inspiration for your impending nuptials. The event will have cake tastings, prizes and an open bar.
Come relax as you look at all the luxury that can be had on your wedding day. Oh yes, there will be fashion. Gown designer Anne Barge will show her 2013 collection. You already know we are giddy with excitement!
Doors open at 6 p.m. at Mason Murer Fine Art. Tickets are $25 and you may purchase tickets here.
